Serneke has been contracted to rebuild Nolhaga swimming and sports center in Alingsås to a value of about 200 million SEK. The client is the municipal organisation Fabs who owns the property and the tenant is Alingsås municipality.
Nolhaga swimming and sports center is a neglected building from the 1960s in need of renovation and refurbishment. The property will grow by nearly 4000 sqm and devlop into a modern indoor swimming pool with a waterpark, wellness area and gymnasium.
- Nolhaga is in great need of a restoration and it feels great that we get to do this for the citizens of Alingsås. Hopefully it will contribute to even greater attraction for the municipality, says Daniel Åstenius, CEO of Serneke Construction.
The project is expected to be completed in late autumn 2017.
