Serneke sold 68,000 m² land to Göteborgs Lastbilcentral, GLC, and is now building a new logistic center for GLC on the same land. The construction started in November 2014 and the project is expected to be finished in the beginning of 2016.
The new logistic center has a size of 15 000 m² and makes it possible for GLC to gather all of their activities under the same roof. This will lead to better cooperation and synergies within the organization.
- This gives us the opportunity to grow and develop. By centralizing our operations, we meet our customers' needs for an efficient organization. We are also pleased that our current tenant, who is also a customer, Martin & Servera, choose to move with us, says Bengt Meyer, CEO of GLC.
- We are very proud and excited to do this together with GLC, says Ola Serneke, CEO of Serneke Group.
The entire area is part of the municipally driven project called Development North East with the goal to attract more businesses and jobs into the area.
